Maggie and Cameron met at the least likely of places. . . A bar in the 21st century.

At a bar affectionately known as “The Downer” in Boulder, Colorado, Maggie and Cameron met on a random Tuesday night whilst playing darts. Though Cameron won the game, Maggie won his heart.

Maggie told Cameron about her new puppy, Luna, to really hook him. After their first date—binge watching all four Shrek movies—they knew they’d met the Donkey to their Dragon. A little Shrek reference for ya ;)

Cameron moved shortly after to Littleton to work at Lockheed Martin, a little over an hour south of Maggie in Boulder. Despite the drive, Cameron drove up almost every weekend to see Luna—I mean, Maggie.

After Maggie graduated from CU Boulder, she moved down to Golden, much closer to Cameron. After nearly a year and a half together, Cameron moved in with Maggie.

Today, Maggie and Cameron live together with Luna, their cat, Sunshine, and their new puppy, Clover. Cameron is still working at Lockheed Martin navigating satellites in deep space! Maggie is looking for work after finishing her MA in Creative Writing, and is coaching ultimate frisbee in the meantime! They’re an unstoppable team who can’t wait for the day they get to say “I do.”
